Earlier this week, Group 14 and CustomCells announced they have signed a multi-year supply agreement. The agreement is expected to exceed $300M and will enable CustomCells, a German battery pioneer, to procure SCC55 from Group14 to be used in their North American expansion- and produce batteries for electric vehicles, aviation, and eMobility. The two companies have been working together since 2020 and the partnership has led to valuable insights. CustomCells’ plans include a U.S. based factory with a capacity of up to 2GWh.
